Terms and Conditions for the First Table and Flavours of Plenty Festival Competition

Promotion

Be in to win a dining experience for two at the Longest Lunch (Friday, 28th March, 1 PM to 4 PM), two nights' accommodation for two at Trinity Wharf Tauranga (28th and 29th March) including breakfast, and a $200 dining voucher at Master Kong The Mount.

Promotion period 

The Campaign Promotion commences at 7:00 AM NZT on February 25th, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM NZT on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. All online entries must be received by the closing time.

Promoter

The Promoter of the Campaign is First Table Limited. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.

This Promotion is in conjunction with the Flavours of Plenty Festival, The Longest Lunch and Master Kong The Mount.

Eligible Entrants 

This Campaign is open to those who enter via Instagram or First Table’s competition entry form and who are 18 years or older as of the date of entry. The Campaign is only open to legal residents of New Zealand and is void where prohibited by law. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Agreement to Rules

By participating, the Contestant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of First Table as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.

How to Enter

The Campaign must be entered by following First Table, Flavours of Plenty Festival, Trinity Wharf  Tauranga and Master Kong The Mount on Instagram, and tagging who you'd share the prize with on this Instagram reel. If unable to enter on social media, entrants can complete and submit the entry form on the competition webpage. Multiple entries are allowed.

The entry must fulfil all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Multiple entries from the same person are accepted in this promotion period. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of First Table. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of First Table.

Prize

The winner of this First Table and Flavours of Plenty Festival competition will receive:

• Tickets for two to The Longest Lunch on Friday, March 28th, 2025.
• Two nights' accommodation for two people at Trinity Wharf Tauranga, including breakfast (28th to 29th of March, 2025).
• A $200 dining voucher for Master Kong The Mount (Booked for Saturday 239th March at 7pm) 

The prize does not include any alcohol.

The prize cannot be redeemed in conjunction with the First Table discount. 

The prize value must be used in one transaction and cannot be split over multiple dining experiences. The winner is responsible for additional costs not specifically included in this prize.

The prize does not cover travel costs if the winner is not based in Mount Maunganui. 

The prize includes two nights' accommodation in a Pool View Room and breakfast for two at Trinity Wharf Tauranga, but it does not cover additional hotel charges, including but not limited to Laundry or Mini Bar.

Winner Selection and Notification

The Winner will be selected by a random drawing of the promotion under the supervision of First Table within 48 hours of the competition ending. The Winner will be notified by email. First Table shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within four days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.

Claiming Prize 

First Table will pass on the Winner's contact information to the Flavours of Plenty Festival for the Longest Lunch tickets.

Accommodation is pre-booked, and the First Table team will confirm the Winner's contact information with Trinity Wharf and send the winner the accommodation booking confirmation. 

The $200 dining experience at Master Kong The Mount has been booked for Saturday 29th March at 7pm, however the winner can use this at a later date (within 6 months if they choose to).

The Prize must be redeemed on the 28th and 29th of March 2025 or is otherwise invalid. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted.

Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of the prize transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the Winner is permitted. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for First Table to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

Rights Granted by You

By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), you understand and agree that First Table, anyone acting on behalf of First Table, and First Table licensees, successors, and assigns shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the competition, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
