Daniel and Sarah Morini (owners) met in 2009 In Ponsonby in popular eatery, Sarah front of house manager, Daniel head chef.

They fell in love over their love for well executed simple food, quality ingredients and warm NZ hospitality. Morell Bistro and Bar is the”restaurant” dream for this seasoned hospitality couple.

“At Morell Bistro we understand that kai is much more than food. It’s about whanau (family and friends) and oranga (health and wellbeing).
