Making good brews and good views their mainstay of friendly hospitality, Good George North Wharf is a vibrant presence in Wynyard Quarter. And that's not only down to their enviable waterfront location...

The oceanside oasis with tanks of freshly brewed beer and cider direct from the award winning, Good George Brewery in the Waikato, is the social anchor and local watering hole frequented by guests from all walks of life in Wynyard Quarter. Thanks to their expansive, dining area, it's alive with happy chatter every evening of the week. Feel free to perch on a bar stool, bag a bistro table with the crew or stay standing with an ice-cold pint to soak in the buzzing atmosphere before hunkering down for some delicious nosh. During the summer months, the oceanside oasis becomes a popular meeting point, enticing diners from far and wide to kick back, relax, and soak in the sun with loved ones while they provide some good ol' Kiwi hospitality.

When it comes to bevvies you're in the right place. Showcasing their own brews loud and proud, the Good George beers are a NZ treasure, with pale ales, pilsners, IPAs and hazy brews aplenty. For the summer months, it has to be a refreshing plum or passionfruit cider and for something later in the evening, a G&T hits just right or anyone of their delicious cocktails. How's that for good brews and views?
